"S'porters" is N.I chapter's elite group of volunteers, who believe in our charitable causes and help out. You do not need a motorcycle to be our "S'porters". This stage is also known as a "Hang-Around" category that the women start off with and may continue to remain in, if they do not own a bike or are not interested in progressing. You must be at least 18 years old. S'porters have their own front patch, t-shirts, hoodies, etc.
S'porters emblem is made up of the half skull, fuchsia heart and silver wings, and the hand from the Ulster flag. In ancient times by cutting the hand or wrist of both parties and then clasping hands, mingling the blood, a covenant partner would become your blood brother/sister. It is from this practice of cutting covenant that we get the handshake of friendship. Our hand is white because what holds our sisterhood together and sets it apart is the goodness of hearts, peace and friendship.
